Object of the Game
Get your team to guess the answer on the card without saying any of the five Forbidden Words listed on it.
Setup
Split into two or more teams (4–12+ players works best). Set the 60-second sand timer where everyone can see it.
On Your Turn
- Choose your risk: draw from the Easy (1 shuriken), Medium (2 shuriken), or Hard (3 shuriken) pile.
- Describe the answer to your team using words, gestures, and creativity — without saying the answer itself or any of the five Forbidden Words on the card.
- Flip the timer. Your team has 60 seconds to guess correctly.
Forbidden Words
If the clue-giver says a Forbidden Word, the opposing team can yell FORBIDDEN! and take the card for themselves.
Scoring
Correctly guessed cards are kept as points: Easy = 1 shuriken, Medium = 2 shuriken, Hard = 3 shuriken. The first team to reach 20 shuriken wins.
What Counts as a Gesture
Physical acting, facial expressions, and gestures are encouraged. You cannot spell the answer, point to a direct visual clue, mouth the answer, or perform an exact signature gesture that gives it away instantly.
